Republican Fiscal Responsibility

Today President Bush II regected by veto, a Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP) bill, which would have expanded health insurance coverage to an additional 4 million lower income children.  This expanded program was to have been funded through additional tax on cigaretts
 
President Bush does this to appear more fiscally responsible – while he requests more than $600 billion (to date) to fund his "war" or fear of Arabian Terrorists!  
 
This is Republican rational – there is no way that they will continue to represent the American people.
